Technical Writer

Are you technically curious and enjoy discovering how products work? Can you explain complex information clearly? At Victron Energy, you combine technology, research, and writing. You'll have the freedom to explore products yourself and turn your knowledge into clear technical documentation.

What will you do?

As a Technical Writer, you ensure that users understand our products and can use them safely. Victron Energy continuously develops new products and features for energy systems. You'll investigate how they work and translate your findings into clear, easy-to-understand English manuals and product information.

You'll get hands-on experience with products, test them yourself, and consult developers when necessary. Rather than waiting for all the information to be provided, you'll take the initiative to find the answers yourself.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Investigating and testing new products and features.

• Writing and improving technical manuals and product documentation.

• Gathering information through independent research and asking questions.

• Translating technical information into clear, practical instructions.

• Collaborating with colleagues in the Netherlands and internationally.

What makes this role unique?

Get hands-on with new products, connect them, and discover how they work for yourself. At Victron Energy, you'll dive straight into the technology. You'll test products, explore new features, and turn your discoveries into clear documentation. In doing so, you'll help users worldwide get the most out of our products.

You'll enjoy a high level of freedom and responsibility. You'll largely decide how to gather information, which questions to ask, and how to explain complex technology in a way that is easy to understand. You'll work within a small, international team where sharing knowledge and taking initiative are highly valued.

What you can expect from us:

• A varied role that combines technology, research, and writing.

• Plenty of independence and room to bring your own ideas to life.

• Direct involvement in new products and technological developments.

• A gross annual salary of €50,000 to €70,000, including holiday allowance.

• An attractive bonus scheme.

• The flexibility to work from our offices in Almere, Eindhoven, or Groningen, depending on where you live.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to put your technical curiosity to work every day.
