Job requirements

What do you bring?

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Senior or Lead DevOps Engineer.

  • A background in Computer Science, IT, or Computer Engineering, or demonstrable hands-on experience. We will consider someone that doesn't have a degree and has a proven track record of DevOps experience over a number of years.

  • Experience working for a FinTechcompany, in particular either a Payment Gateway, Issuer, Card Scheme, Issuer Processor, or Bank/Acquirer that has strict security and compliance regulations (i.e., PCI-DSS).

  • Tech stack: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Cloud Logging, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), GIT Workflows, Bitbucket and Bitbucket Pipelines or other CI/CD platforms, Snyk, SonarCloud, Microservices, Kafka, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Experience: GCP, CICD, IaC, containerization, site reliability, security, compliance, automation, disaster recovery, firewalls, networking, load balancer, databases, monitoring, caching, alerting, Configuration and Secret Management.

  • Good to have: Either coding or scripting experience.

  • Tools: Kubernetes, Docker and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, HiveMQ) or similar Queuing Technology, Prometheus, Grafana, BetterStack, OpsGenie, and Status Page.

  • Soft skills: Leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, strategic thinking, cultural leadership, and self-starter.
